Dabei wurde ein großer Kopf aus Ton nach seiner Fertigstellung gewaltsam und notwendigerweise zerstört. Die jetzige Ausstellung besteht in einer Art archäologischer Ausgrabung, wobei die Scherben auf dem Fußboden den Schriftzug RESPIRA bilden. Der Schriftzug verändert sich mit der Zeit, und zwar sowohl durch das Einwirken des Publikums, das die Scherben kaufen kann, als auch durch die Performance, die in Zusammenarbeit mit Studenten des Kunstlyzeums Bozen durchgeführt wird; diese werden auf die „Ausgrabung“ einwirken und sie in etwas anderes verwandeln. 19.09. – 24.10.2008 *Lost and found - Hubert Kostner* *Vernissage: 19.09.2008 (19:00)* Hubert Kostner geht in seinen meist kleinformatigen Skulpturen und Bildern von der Landschaft seiner unmitTbaren Umgebung aus und verfremdet sie auf ganz verschiedene Weise. Gefundene Holzstücke werden vom Künstler immer wieder derart fotografiert und dann mit architektonischen Elementen en miniature kombiniert, so dass der Eindruck einer Berglandschaft mit Hotel oder Aussichtsplattform entsteht. The artist often takes photographs of found pieces of wood and combines them with en miniature architectonic elements to give the impression of mountain scenes with a hotel or a belvedere. Only a second glance reveals contrasts and ruptures. Nel corso delle battute si scopre che essi sono due killer professionisti che attendono istruzioni da un misterioso capo. L'attesa è snervante. Le sue opere nascono da un complesso procedimento di addizioni. I quadri si compongono di vari strati di resina, nei quali vengono immessi diversi pigmenti di colore, che poi attraverso un lavoro di attenta rifinitura si fondono in un insieme cromatico. L’attuale esposizione consiste in una specie di scavo archeologico dove i cocci formano sul pavimento la scritta RESPIRA. La scritta subisce col tempo modifiche sia con l’intervento del pubblico che può acquistare i cocci, sia attraverso la performance eseguita in collaborazione degli studenti delLliceo Artistico di Bolzano che interverranno su questo “scavo” e lo trasformeranno in qualcosa d’altro. 19.09.-24.10.2008 *Lost and found - Hubert Kostner* *Inaugurazione: 19.09.2008 (19:00)* Nelle sue sculture e nei suoi quadri, per lo più di piccolo formato, Hubert Kostner prende lo spunto dal paesaggio che lo circonda, straniandolo nei modi più svariati. Ripetutamente l’artista fotografa dei pezzi di legno trovati, combinandoli successivamente con elementi architettonici in miniatura, in modo tale da creare l’impressione di un paesaggio montano con albergo o terrazza panoramica. La mostra analizza come le proposte artistiche più recenti siano state influenzate dalle Avanguardie Americane del Secondo Dopoguerra, che a loro volta avevano ripreso le sperimentazioni sviluppate all’inizio del XX secolo tra la Germania, la Polonia, la Russia e altri paesi. Alcune vasche recheranno tracce di corpi umani e parti di corpi, che verranno impressionate mediante tecniche fotografiche, direttamente sulla fibra di vetro. Il bersaglio mai colpito, il “target d’oro”si riferisce ai bombardamenti alleati del 1944-45. La cultura è la coscienza della civilizzazione.
